Robin Hood’s Raptors – 2023

Volta’s Vineyard – 2022

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that was certainly the case for the Alaska Raptor Center’s annual gala!  After a two-year hiatus, friends of the Center came out in force for an evening of vines, wines, and good times in support of Alaska’s wild birds.  The winery-themed fundraising gala included fine wine, palate-pleasers and fabulous auctions that had the audience of more than 230 friends cheering “Sip, sip, hooray!”   With a full house of like-minded folks, the energy in the room was electric and the generosity was flowing. The Center raised more than $140,000 towards the mission of promoting and enhancing wild populations of raptors and other bird species through rehabilitation, education and research!  If you missed out, save the date for next year’s event, which will be November 18, 2023!  The theme will be “Robin Hood’s Raptors” so get ready for an absolutely medieval evening in Sherwood Forest with feathers, arrows and heroic adventure!

Ragnar’s Raptors – 2019

Our 21th annual fall fundraiser was an absolute blast! Heartfelt thanks to all the individuals, businesses, organizations and groups who helped make Ragnar’s Raptors our most successful event yet! We are truly humbled by the outpouring of support from our Alaskan community and regions far beyond!

If you weren’t able to secure your spot at this year’s event, we hope to see you next year!

For each of the last 21 years, friends of the Alaska Raptor Center gather together for an evening of food, auctions, and entertainment to help support our mission of rehabilitation, education and research. The event, which was held on Saturday November 9th 2019, helps offset our costs towards the housing, feeding, and medical care of our 25 resident education birds and 200+ wild patients we treat each year.
